We employ nonlinear finite element analysis (FEA) to study and confirm the stress distribution in both the anchorage body and the surrounding concrete within the local zone. This analysis allows us to accurately capture the complex interactions between the anchorage and the concrete, ensuring a detailed understanding of the stress concentrations and distribution patterns. The model also incorporates a helical reinforcement (helix) to account for the confinement effect in the local concrete zone behind the anchorage, enhancing the accuracy of the stress predictions and reflecting the improved strength and performance of the confined concrete.
